Sept Notes

A small journal of reading practice, vocabulary, and study resources collected throughout the term.

This collection began as a personal habit—jotting down phrases worth remembering, articles worth re-reading, and small ideas that quietly changed the way I think. It is, above all, a working notebook: imperfect, growing, and made better by use.

  1. "To be obsessed with…" — used both positively and negatively depending on context.
  2. "A blessing in disguise" — something good that initially seemed bad.
  3. "Cut to the chase" — to skip the preliminaries and arrive at the main point.
  4. "Food for thought" — an idea worth thinking about carefully.
